Dr. Partridge Presents Humanizing Health Equity, at 4:45 PM – 5:05 PM EST

Guideway Care’s CMO Edward Partridge, MD, will join a diverse panel of expert faculty and health care professionals at the upcoming event titled Innovations and Quality in Oncology Care. Hosted by the American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC) Institute for Value-Based Medicine® (IVBM), the panelists will present meaningful experiences and insights in relation to Value-Based Care among oncology and population health stakeholders.

Dr. Partridge is eminently qualified to join this prestigious panel, drawing upon an extensive medical career that included service as Director of the UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, Margaret Cameron Spain Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, past President of the National Board of the American Cancer Society as well as Chairman of the Commission on Cancer for the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Partridge is the driving force behind Guideway’s mission to deliver solutions and services that resolve patient barriers to accessing quality care within oncology practices, health systems, risk-bearing entities, payers, bundle participants and behavioral health partners’ populations.

Throughout his long career in medicine, Dr. Partridge has translated academic research into practical real-world applications, particularly in the areas of cancer prevention and the reduction of disparities in health care.

During the event, Dr. Partridge will present the value of care guidance programs to deliver improvements in patient quality score and satisfaction metrics while also lowering the total cost of care for payers in Value-Based Care arrangements. Having developed over 70 non-clinical and clinical assessments, covering social determinants of health (SDoH) and most disease states, Guideway’s solution drives health equity and financial performance by resolving patient barriers related to health-related social needs, practical concerns and other impediments to compliance with clinical instructions.

Attendance to this IVBM event is complimentary for health care providers, administrators and allied health professionals.
